Ratings & reviews Camping Nieuwpoort

Great place to stay, the coast line is about a 10 minute drive away and the town centre is in walking distance but you can hire bicycles and ride in, maybe a ten minute ride, it would be quite a long walk for some I guess. On site there's a soft play area, a few park areas with swings and slides, three swimming pools, one main pool, one with a water slide and one for younger children and all heated. They have a shop on site and bar areas also, so quite well equipped, unfortunately the shop and pools are only open limited times when we visited at the end of May beginning of June, I didn't see any information on this when we booked it, but I'll have to check again as I may have missed it. The cabins we hired were excellent, very new and we'll equipped, we even had a dishwasher in there. All the staff, maybe owners even were very helpful and polite All in all we enjoyed our stay and can see it would be lively in the height of season, but to be honest we quite enjoyed having the pool almost to our selves. - Matt Wheeler

Bright and airy (!) - very good facilities, well-kept and clean; helpful staff (apart from a grumpy lifeguard - probably bored). The 11pm 'curfew' is too late, though, for families with younger children who cannot sleep with the exuberant partying by older 'children'. The strange afternoon closing times for the bar/restaurant/shop and the reception in the evening is rather inconvenient and the impossibility of entering the pool area without getting an unwanted shower (even for spectators!) was irritating, but overall a good experience and we would return. - Robin Sharp

Beautiful place with lots of facilities. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities are really good, clean & modern with plenty of hot water in showers. Only negative was the pitch we were put on was very muddy where the grass should have been - not worth complaing for 1 night but would not have been happy if staying longer. Would definately come here again for longer. - Roy Martin

Clean, spacious and very friendly staff - SALLY BRADLEY
